➥ The Patterns
This year’s event is very much from my heart ❤︎ No partner — just me.
All patterns will come from my extensive catalog of almost 350 designs & will likely include pattern(s) still to be released. Aside from that change, you can expect the same experience as in years past. 30 days in a row of surprising you with some of my very favorite patterns during our last chance to play together.
I’ve loved selecting patterns for this finale more than ever. My goal is to deliver as many patterns that are both new to you as well as beloved to me.
As always, the first step was removing any patterns that have been featured in previous games. Next, I selected designs that I absolutely adore who never got the attention they deserved. I then added absolute classics that every knitter should have (according to…me!). These designs are timeless, flattering, wearable and also include teaching patterns that will help your fit & sizing knowledge or feature a fun technique or link to a tutorial. While I can’t promise you won’t receive something you’ve already purchased, I can assure you that even if you’ve played every year, you don’t have to worry about receiving a pattern that’s been previously included in the game. For this Finale, I did feature more of Kate Oates than Tot Toppers, but I certainly couldn’t leave my debut brand out entirely!
➥ Bingo Basics
Note: Normally I am all OVER the BINGO inbox leading up to the game so I can answer questions quickly and stay on top of everything. My family celebrates Christmas, so please be patient. You’ll get an autoreply if you send me an email so that you know when to expect to hear from me. Even if you send a note during my official Christmas Break, you’ll still be taken care of before the game begins.
Your Form: type carefully, review & leave a note if needed. I rely on the form you submit with your registration in order to deliver your BINGO Card and your daily deliveries. This is why you’re asked to enter your information twice! I’ve had many typos disrupt the process, so I do everything I can to avoid them so that you’re not frustrated. After you complete the form, please take a moment to review & proof it. If any of your entries contains characters that could be interpreted as either a number or letter, use the “note” box to let me know which one it is. Ex. letter O or numerical 0? letter l or the number 1?—I’m not sure how that second example is showing on your computer, but for me both characters appear identical.
Emails: No matter what I do. Every. Single. Year. There are a few players who initially struggle to receive my emails or deliveries. Following the advice below will help, A LOT. However, should you find yourself as one of the lucky ones this time around, just remember that it’s typically over a week before the first BINGO is won, There is plenty of time for us to solve the problem together. You will get all your patterns & numbers, I will get you sorted out. It will be ok!
Add the email addresses in the next section to your contacts, address book, favorites…whatever your email server will allow you to do to make sure that nothing goes to spam/junk/promo/trash
If you don’t receive your Registration Confirmation within a few minutes of checkout, search alllll your folders.
If you find it: move the email to your inbox, mark it safe, again, use whatever options your server provides so that it doesn’t continue to happen
If you can’t find it: you may have entered your email address incorrectly at checkout. The good news is that I use your Form information for the game, not checkout info. Still—if you don’t receive your confirmation, send an inquiry to knitbingo@gmail.com; subject: “missing registration confirmation” (or similar). Include anything that might help me find & identify your order such as first and last name, date & approx time of your purchase. If you happen to remember the Order Number that displayed at checkout, I’m seriously impressed. Definitely include that, You don’t necessarily need the confirmation itself, but it’s better to be confident that your registration went through.
If you registered before the deadline but don’t receive your card or first day deliveries by 5pm EST on 1.2.26, use the search process described above but with mail senst from knitbingo@gmail.com instead of the help address. Again, you’ll want to shoot an email to my BINGO address if you’re still unable to find it!
The Emails in your BINGO journey! There are three that you’ll receive at least 1 email from, but only one that you’ll use to send game-related email. Whether you’ve got a question or a BINGO, contact knitbingo@gmail.com. The order of emails below is based on the order in which you’ll receive your emails.
𝚎 𝚖 𝚊 𝚒 𝚕 #𝟷 │ help@kateoatesdesign.com ➥ DO NOT use this address to send any game-related emails but your Registration Confirmation is automated & sent from this address. If you pre-order a KO Limited Edition Project Bag, you’ll also receive any communication / tracking information from this email address. Although my help inbox gets checked regularly, it’s every couple of days and when I’m on my computer. I do not have this inbox on my phone. The BINGO address has top priority (and is on my phone). If you use the help inbox, you’ll likely wait longer for a response. Only BINGO’s in the correct inbox are scored.
𝚎 𝚖 𝚊 𝚒 𝚕 #𝟸 │ knitbingo@gmail.com ➥ This is where you will want to send any emails! You’ll also receive Card, Daily Pattern Name & Number Deliveries from this address. As long as you’re registered before the end of 2025, you’ll receive your unique BINGO Card prior to the first delivery on January 2. Customers that register from New Year’s Day though BINGO cutoff can expect to be caught up within 48 hours. Each card is manually generated and emailed to only the assigned player. If any pattern deliveries have been sent, they will be taken care of while I’m getting you set up with your card as well.
𝚎 𝚖 𝚊 𝚒 𝚕 #𝟹 │ downloads@ravelry.com ➥ Pattern deliveries will arrive from this address. You do not need to use Ravelry to retrieve your pattern. This blog post shows both how to download & save your pattern delivery to your device as well as how to save it to your Ravelry Library. I believe this is a no-reply email address, but even if it isn’t, the replies aren’t coming to me so don’t use this address for sending!
➥ Game Review
BINGO registrations received prior to December 29, 2025 will receive their card prior to the first delivery on January 2, 2026. Each card is unique & created individually, which is why it isn’t attached to your registration.
From January 2- 31, 2026, each player receives the same surprise pattern in their inbox each day (30 patterns total)
Don’t forget to read the message sent with your pattern; it includes the randomly generated number that’s assigned to each pattern before the game begins. This is the number you’ll be looking for on your card.
Look for the daily number on your BINGO Card. If it’s there, cross it off. Remember, each card has 25 numbers out of the 30 available, so there are up to 5 pattern numbers that aren’t on your card.
As soon as you get a BINGO, email knitbingo@gmail.com with an image of your BINGO; BINGOs are not scored or placed in the prize “line” until there’s an image showing your win.
You’ll receive a reply with prize eligibility & details, based on how many players submitted BINGOs ahead of you
As soon as the prizes are gone, I’ll let everyone know that there is no longer a need to send in BINGO emails
