In this design, I paired bulky yarn with lace knitting because in my mild climate, there isnโt often the opportunity to WEAR bulky handknits! Iโve lost count of how many of these Iโve knit, but this particular one happens to be the very latest when the pattern got a makeover. This hat is the Adult size and will work for those with head circumferences between 21.5 - 23โ ||| 54.5 - 58.5 cm. This hat is different than the others because it has a beautiful halo thanks to the mohair I held with the bulky yarn!

Regardless of the fiber used, I highly recommend handwashing all handknits, then laying them flat to dry. For this yarn, it is not a recommendation but a requirement. Agitation when wet will cause the yarn to felt and therefore shrinkโso much that it will be unwearable and the โholesโ from the lacework will disappear..
Youโre purchasing a one of a kind lovingly made handknit piece! Yay! All items have been stored in a smoke free, cat free home. We do have two precious non-shedding, hypoallergenic dogs but they arenโt allowed near the knits :) Each sample has been worn at least once for modeling but is in excellent condition unless noted otherwise. Generally, the price of the sample doesnโt actually cover the cost of the materials (yarn!) that were used to create it, as I use only high quality materials.
