This is the original sample of the Big Bad Vest design from Knits for Boys. It has never been worn, outside of modeling. It is knit with a supersoft, merino/alpaca blend. This sweater is a childβs size 8 .

Regardless of the fiber used, I highly recommend handwashing all handknits, then laying them flat to dry. For this yarn, it is not a recommendation but a requirement. Agitation when wet will cause the yarn to felt and therefore shrink.
Youβre purchasing a one of a kind lovingly made handknit piece! Yay! All items have been stored in a smoke free, cat free home. We do have two precious non-shedding, hypoallergenic dogs but they arenβt allowed near the knits :) Each sample has been worn at least once for modeling but is in excellent condition unless noted otherwise. Generally, the price of the sample doesnβt actually cover the cost of the materials (yarn!) that were used to create it, as I use only high quality materials.
