The lid has a felt bottom and doubles as a magnetic notions dish to keep your stitch markers and darning needles handy. It comes with a small stand to hold your phone or iPad to view your pattern, watch your favorite podcast or tutorial while you work. The device slot fits iPhones and iPads as well as most smartphones/tablets up to 9.7" screen size and 9mm thick (heavy cases may need to be removed).
Note: Adjust the viewing angle by rotating the stand and inserting your device 'backwards' if you prefer a more upright angle. The slot is designed to allow for a more reclined position for ease of viewing assuming it will be placed on a surface below eye level.
