This room was designed to be a Double, but there’s been a wee change-up.

Since registration closes in just 3 days, I did a little switcharoo amongst your crew to make this room available for either two guests as roomies or a single guest in a private space. 

Fee structure information is provided and the discount code I provided to my subscribers is no longer exclusive, instead, I’ve increased the discount and it’s already been applied to the pricing so there’s nothing to enter at checkout.

Whether you come in as besties or get to know each other during the retreat, I can say from experience that there are lots of roomie benefits! Many former retreat guests who came in as strangers began treasured friendships during the event. I’ve loved hearing how they’ve not only stayed close but some have even traveled together later on. 

But of course, decide what’s best for you, then  select from amongst these Bedroom 4 options—‍

  • King in Double Room: enjoy the King Bed, with a fabulous roomie—who’s in their own bed, of course.

  • Twin Pull-Out in Double Room: reserve this squishy pull-out & enjoy the company of a delightful roomie whether you come in as besties or get to know each other during the retreat.

I checked in-person with the management company before booking our house to be sure that these beds are cozy & luxurious. They have assured me that not only are they incredibly comfortable, but the mattresses are brand new and top of the line.

  • Single Room (King Bed & Comfy Seating): convert the room so it’s ALL yours. As this means the pull-out won’t be set up, you’ll have a cozy couch right in your room. Enjoy a private squishy-comfy knitting space anytime you need peace & quiet.

You’ll share any allergies or dietary restrictions & your travel intentions along with anything else I should know. Although the form asks you for your sizing information, I decided on a fantastic, wearable piece that really could be one-size-fits-all. I’m still having it sized just to be sure…but the point is, don’t stress about what size you write in, an estimate is just fine! I recommend sizing down if you feel you’re between sizes, or are losing weight.

UNDERSTANDING REGISTRATION FEES

When setting registration fees for a retreat, I factor in two types of costs:fixed & adjustable.

Fixed Costs

These expenses include the accommodations and any other cost that doesn’t change, no matter how many guests attend the retreat. Fixed costs are divided amongst each registration fee with the most desirable slots (single oceanfront rooms in this case) covering a slightly higher percentage versus guests in double rooms & the smallest beds. When shifting a Double Room to a Single, the fixed costs for the intended second guest still need to be accounted for, which is why the price of the room increases. I’ve also taken on a significant chunk of these fees myself to make this option more feasible.

Adjustable Costs

Adjustable costs are exactly that: for most of the retreat experiences and meals, the cost is per person. The total is the same for each guest. Adjustable fees are not added to the registration fee that converts this room from Double to Single.
