There’s lots to say about my retreat home style.
I’m reaaaaal picky—so our home away has to be both luxurious and cozy, with wonderful spaces for creating together, plenty of seating for every meal, and so much more.
Rooms are available as singles or doubles, with options such as balcony access and ocean views. I’ve opened registration based on the home with the most space that fits all my qualifications. I also have a fabulous list of alternate beachfront homes, each with its own unique layout and number of rooms.
By the end of September, I’ll choose and book our home based on the number of registrations received. The slideshow below gives you a peek at some of the incredible homes on my list—so you can see that I truly mean it when I say they’re all amazing.
For now, the registration images and those in the slideshow at the bottom of the page feature the home used for registration. If we don’t fill it, I’ll select one of the smaller homes and share its equally beautiful images. Every option ticks all my very picky boxes.

Nestled in the hush of coastal calm, Stitch & Beach is an intimate, luxurious maker’s retreat designed to bring serenity to a maker’s soul.
Whether you come with friends or find them here, this is your invitation to unwind surrounded by beauty, creativity, comfort & kindred spirits.
Enjoy chef-prepared meals by Private Chef Sarah, The Carolina Chef, and intimate workshops with local fiber artist Kristy Bishop & fifth-generation sweetgrass basket weaver Corey Alston, whose work has been displayed in the Smithsonian. We’ll take a visit to the nearby local yarn shop, Wild & Wooly, and spend a day exploring historic downtown Charleston. Other than that, our time will be spent in relaxed luxury—soaking in coastal views, spotting dolphins, walking the beach, and cozying up with our making. We’ll kick off the retreat with a stitch marker swap during our welcome dinner—a sweet and simple way to connect and start getting to know each other.

This getaway was created to be small & exclusive so that we can share enjoy each other’s company while also having plenty of room to relax in each of our own personal spaces. Location
Corey will be talking with us about historic Gullah culture & teaching us how to make sweetgrass roses
Kristy Bishop will be teaching a workshop on indigo dyeing. She’ll provide each guest with a tea towel & a scarf to dye, but you’re also encouraged to bring items from home (including yarn!) to dye. I’ll provide more guidance on what fibers are best to bring closer to the retreat.

We’ll have one group event (TBD) together (as for everything else, it is up to you whether you want to attend or not)
The rest of the day is yours. Explore at will and choose whatever restaurant you want to eat dinner, Charleston is foodie heaven!
